I sucessfully donated blood again this evening. The whole process took almost two hours which was pathetic but I bled out in 13 minutes which isn't too bad for Februrary (my blood always flows slower in the winter time). I booked ahead for eight weeks like always but just before I left I clued in that April 10th is the Tuesday after Easter and I WON'T BE HERE :D

ReplyDeleteI tried for a number of years - but my iron count is always low (not surprising) and I have impossible to find blood vessels and I bleed way too slowly.
They told me not to bother coming back!
Yeah, unfortunately that's common. My iron levels fluctuate really bad. If I go at the right time of the month I can usually get it. It's a bit of a crap shoot though. They can only find a vessel in my left arm too. It's rather annoying.
