I jump!
As the "key contact to the board" the fact that my boss is in the air somewhere over the midwest right now, doesn't affect anything. The chairman asked for an emergency conference call and I pulled it off in under 20 minutes. From the time he called to the time we finished the conference call, it was less then an hour. Quorum and everything. Yeah me!!! Nothing like making a good impression a few days before my first face to face board meeting!
