I went to a Party Lite show tonight. It's probably been about three years since my last one. It was fun. Very nice stuff but I didn't buy a thing. I just couldn't justify making a "token purchase" of tealights or votives or something when their shipping is $4.25 an order. None of the holders stood out to me either. I have more then enough already so it was really easy to talk myself out of anything.
The consultant was really good though. I find that since I have been in a direct selling position, I am very critical when it comes to other consultants. She impressed me though. She's only been selling Party Lite for 14 months and she already has 15 downline!!! Plus she had great product knowledge and she was helpful without being pushy.
Anyhow, I'm proud that I didn't spend money. Everyone else did though so the hostess still got her gifts :)

I'm critical too of other DS consultants. But I haven't been to any "parties" in a long time (thank goodness ;))
Ah, money saved on candles can go towards the important stuff: scrapbooking and country music! Oh, and coffee too....
Good Job on the willpower...Can you send some of that my way?
