No holiday for you

Okay, so I was wrong. Monday, in Canada was Victoria Day. For some reason I thought it was a holiday for everyone in the Commonwealth. I've stand corrected though. Sorry about that!

So, what did I do with my long weekend? Well, I've already blogged about Friday night. The rest of the weekend was pretty laid back. Saturday Dad was powerwashing the house and then painting. I slept in and then just hung out until the bible study in the evening.

Sunday was church and after lunch I went over to Jenna's for awhile. She, her sister Katherine and I did a bit of shoe shopping and then I dropped them off at their parents house. Mom, Dad, Aaron Seth and I went to the 7 o'clock showing of "Over the Hedge" It was quite enjoyable. Very funny with a lot of memorable lines. Afterwards we went out to Red Robins which was a lot of fun.

Monday Seth wanted to go to the outlets at Tulalip. We knew it was on I5 but none of us (Seth, Mom or Aaron) thought to check how far South it was. By the time we got to Burlington it was POURING and I decided I didn't want to drive any further so we just went to the outlets there. Didn't buy anything but we had fun browsing.

Getting back across the border was i.n.s.a.n.e. It took two and half HOURS!!! I haven't waited that long in a border line up in YEARS. We had fun though.

Last night I headed back out to Janis', since it's been awhile since I was there. I rented "Romor Has It..." and made macaroni and cheese. The movie was pretty good. Very light, which was what I was looking for.

Today I'm back at work and busy. Have I mentioned lately that I really like me job though? :D

Ian and Jeffrey want to see Over the Hedge in the worst way, but last weekend was just way too busy, I'm hoping maybe this weekend. Yum and Red Robin too!
Glad to hear you are still liking your job.
